A little bit about Juliana(She/her/hers)
Hi! My name is Juliana. I am a recent graduate of Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, Connecticut. I graduated with a B.A. as a double major in Theatre Arts (Musical Theatre) and Media Arts (Film & Television), as well as a Catholic Studies Minor. As someone who double majored, I was able to get the best of both worlds - I got experience in theatre while learning and gaining experience in the film world! As a performer, I love to tell stories. I tell them through theatre, singing, songwriting - you name it! I love connecting with people on a deeper level and allowing them to feel something. I found theatre when I was in the sixth grade, but I have been singing for as long as I can remember. Throughout my journey in theatre, I've experienced many hardships. I had teachers and advisors doubting me, telling me that I wasn't "good enough" to my face, friends not believing in me, and getting a whole bunch of nos. At the end of the day, my love for theatre has helped me through these hard times. Because of these hardships, I pushed myself to achieve more because I knew I was capable of it. My hard work paid off while I was in high school. During my sophomore year, I was the understudy for all of the Jet Boys in my high school's production of West Side Story. I played every character imaginable on top of my own track. Watching the opening number on opening night made me realize I want to do this for the rest of my life. My theatre experience in college was absolutely incredible. I had had countless opportunities to work and challenge myself. I cannot wait to see what my future holds now that I've graduated and am setting foot in the real world. Sacred Heart's Theatre program was truly amazing because I was able to perform both onstage and offstage. I was either in casts or on crew, or creative teams. I have become a well-rounded performer and have a newfound respect for every member of a production, thanks to this program. To keep up with me, check out my CAREER UPDATES page! |
